5 Alarm Fire in Richmond Hill leaves 3 Dead

On June 17, 2022 around 2:20 pm a fire broke out at 104 -18 125th Street in the South Richmond Hill section of Queens. The fire quickly spread to the houses next store. With heavy winds pushing the ambers, the fire reached a house across the street causing severe damage. At one point the roof of the original fire building collapsed causing the FDNY to fight the fire from the exterior. The five alarm fire took over two hours to get under control. Three victims were found deceased in the rubble. No cause of the fire to report at this time.
