Shortly before 10:30 am this morning, a man barricaded himself in a trailer allegedly with a knife according to reports. The trailer is outside the emergency room at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island and is used as a triage unit for admissions to the ER at the hospital. The hospital was in lockdown for about 15 minutes. A massive response of NYPD and FDNY units were at the hospital. Shortly before 11 am, the perp was reported to be in custody.
