Halloween Horror
A man was left dead and a young woman seriously wounded, following an outbreak of gunfire on Halloween at the Sheepshead Housing Complex. Both victims were rushed to Brookdale University Hospital, where the 29 year old man was pronounced dead and the 19 year old woman was listed as in stable condition.
While parents ushered their children around to trick or treat after school let out for the day, police responded to a report of shots fired around five in the evening at 2932 Avenue V. The victims were discovered with multiple gunshot wounds; the male victim suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and buttocks, and the female victim suffered gunshot wounds to the chest, hip, and knee.
There have been no arrests made as of yet, and the investigation is still ongoing. The victims’ identities are pending family notification.
