Lioness “Little Orphan Annie” Survives on Her Own in Kenya

“Little Orphan Annie” whose mother was killed by a crocodile on the Galana river when she was just 7 months old. Faced with the odds against her, the young lioness managed to forge her way through and teach herself not only to hunt but to kill properly, fend for herself and survive. As part of the conservancy, she has “owned” it as being not only a lioness that can survive on her own, but a great representative, especially in these times, of the female power and survival skills when all seems readily lost.
