ONGOING GUN VIOLENCE IN NYC

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at approximately 2340 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 1130 Anderson Avenue, within the confines of the 44 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS also responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
