Park East Synagogue with Senior Rabbi Arthur Schneier had an official “Welcome New York City Mayor Eric Adams”  Shabbat.event where the Mayor spoke to the congregation and promised to protect the Jewish community.
The Mayor enjoyed a few minutes with the children of the congregation, sitting down and talking with them.
The talk was followed by a Gala Congregational Kiddush meal for all to share.
