A Brooklyn neighborhood was thrust into pandemonium when a man was shot early Sunday night in Sheepshead Bay. The man, whose identity is being withheld pending family notification, was shot in the chest just before 8:30 pm inside a deli on Avenue U between East 28th and East 29th Streets following a dispute with three other men.
After being shot repeatedly in the chest, the man stumbled out of the deli before collapsing on the street, where he was picked up by Emergency Services. He was rushed to Coney Island Hospital- where he remains in critical condition.
This is a breaking news story, and information is being released as police investigate.
